15 min warm up, 2:05 run in zone 2, 10 minute cool down for 2:30
The LT test this week predicted a pace of 9:17 – 10:30 in Zone 2. Over 2:05 (12.8 miles) I averaged 9:47 – so, right on target. Noticed a good amount of cardiac drift – toward the end of the run, I kept bumping into the top of the zone (my HRM yelling at me), and had to gradually drop pace. Cardiac drift probably magnified by the temp shooting up past sunrise to 84 degrees, maybe because I also forgot my Singulair last night (doh!) and air quality is crap. Mile splits:
